Toni Ann Johnson

Headshot in color of Toni Ann JohnsonToni Ann Johnson’s story collection Light Skin Gone to Waste won the 2021 Flannery O’Connor Award. Her novel Remedy for a Broken Angel was nominated for a 2015 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work by a Debut Author. Homegoing, a novella released in 2021, won Accents Publishing’s inaugural novella contest. Johnson won the Miller Audio Prize for the recording of her short story “Time Travel,” available on SoundCloud. She lives in Los Angeles.
