Diversity

The University of Georgia Press values and seeks diversity and inclusive practices within the scholarly communications ecosystem. We fully support the Coalition for Diversity and Inclusion in Scholarly Communications, and are committed to the Coalition’s ongoing work, as outlined in their Joint Statement of Principles.

At a more immediate level, the Press (as a department of the UGA Libraries) is a co-founder of the Libraries’ Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.

The Press is also a founding partner of theĀ Mellon University Press Diversity Fellowship Program.

We are continually working to find ways to put our diversity-related ideals into action.
